Dear Bangalore public,

Bangalore rocks. This is the exact reason why you are living in this awesome city. Yes, there are bigger, better cities in India and abroad, yet you choose (hopefully) to live here because you love this place, the energy, the crowd, the awesome green gardens, the emerald parks in every major residential colony, the military history, the amazing startup environment, the entrepreneurial heroes, [fill in your awesome reason here…]

So, why the f*&* do you tarnish your own city? You are literally shitting in your bed and sleeping in it. Yes, there’s a huge influx of people, yes there’re infrastructure problems, yes, things are are becoming more expensive, but that’s the price you have to pay for advancement. At the same time, you *cannot* let it change how you behave to fellow human beings, you *cannot* let it change your good nature.

There have been many experiences that I’ve had in Bangalore (mostly good), however, the few bad experiences have left me disillusioned and feeling jittered. The rudeness in traffic, the apparent selfishness, the lack of chivalry, it has all left me ashamed. Whenever I talk of Bangalore outside, I speak of the amazing weather and I used to mention the friendly atmosphere. I find that I am lying now. So, I sincerely hope and pray that Bangalore realizes that it’s fast becoming a clusterf*&*, and amend its ways to become the garden city as well as the friendliest city of India.
